Thursday, March 26 Charting and Reporting in a Letter

1. Micropace: 5 minute warmup on game

2. Micropace: 1 and 3 minute timings on TW 27, page 23

3. Chart Data for Classes Top Music Picks using a pie chart to represent the data and save the chart as a separate document from your data.

4. Type (compose) a properly formatted block style letter to Mrs. Herndon. In the body of the letter you need to:

a) explain the data (don't just type "here is my chart or here is my data). Explain the information to me (what is your analysis of the information.

b) insert your chart into the body of the letter (select your whole chart, copy and paste

Monday, March 9 Block Style Paragraphs and Works Cited

1. Open Last Week's Assignment File (Either Assignments for March 2 or February 27), key in today's date and type the 2 paragraphs on page 35, 15d in the text, ignoring red numbers and dots. The paragraph style to use is called Block Style: no indents, single spaced, double spaced between the paragraphs.
2. Place a filename/pathway footer on the document, print and staple if more than one page.
3. Complete Works Cited Page of PowerPoint (Slides will be printed tomorrow and you will have a classroom exhibit and critiquing of the presentations.
